I am broadly interested in perceptions of skill development, from their belief about how skill learning unfolds over time to their evaluation of different skill demands in workplace and everyday tasks. I completed my PhD in Psychology at Yale University, MA in Computational Social Science at The University of Chicago, and BA in Philosophy and History of Science at St. John's College.

I'm a 2nd-year PhD student from Chittagong, Bangladesh, working broadly on perceptions of mistakes. I am currently researching how people weigh mistakes differently and use that information to evaluate others' performance. I completed my undergrad at Rhodes College, where I did vision science research on ensemble perception with Dr. Jason Haberman. Following that, I spent three years working with Dr. Jeremy Wolfe on how we unconsciously process categories versus specific items in visual search. Outside the lab, you can find me listening to 2000s R&B, singing, and cooking Bengali meals—that supper club will start one day!

I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2024 with a B.S. in Psychological and Brain Sciences. Since then, I have done post graduate research at Princeton and Cornell University. Outside of research, I enjoy cooking, baking, and practicing aerial arts.
